On Thursday night, GQ hosted our annual Men of the Year party—the biggest, splashiest menswear bash on the planet—at the legendary Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. And to celebrate 30 years of MOTY, we asked our A-list guests—including co-hosts Stephen Colbert, Sydney Sweeney, Seth Rogen, SZA, Oscar Isaac, Clipse, and Hailey Bieber—to dress in their finest ’90s-inspired ensembles. And that mandate, of course, extended to their choice of watches.

Over-the-top opulence was the name of the game for celeb timepieces in the ’90s, and the 2025 MOTY celebration was teeming with wristwear that fit the bill. Clipse’s Pusha T and Malice sported a pair of crispy Rolex Day-Dates, Will Arnett went for action-hero proportions with a beefy Rolex Deepsea, and Jesse Williams wore a vintage Chopard that looked directly inspired by that time Smash Mouth sang, “All that glitters is gold.”
