Reed Nelson

Reed Nelson is a style commerce writer who has written and edited for Refinery29, Heddels and Well Spent (RIP) among others, writing about Black Friday and Cyber Monday for years. He's also covered men’s fashion, sports, local politics, criminal justice reform, and more at outlets the Salt Lake Tribune, and the San Francisco-Bay Guardian, among others. In another life, he spent years working the retail floor IRL, at places like Unionmade Goods, Gant Rugger, J.Crew, and Nike, developing an eye for what’s a real deal and what just looks like one in the process. Reed has also worked as the in-house copywriter at brands both large and small, and cares (objectively) too much about pants, brick-and-mortar retail, and getting outdoors, especially if climbing is involved.
