Do you think there's a word you-

That I overuse?

I could probably get bleeped out if I say it on here.

Oh, touche.

Especially during a Bears game.

Oh, God bless.

Hey, GQ, I'm Seth Rollins.

And I'm Becky Lynch.

And this is the GQ Couples Quiz.

[whistles] Got it. [Becky clicking tongue]

Ready?

Go on. Hit me. All right,

I'm gonna hit you.

What is my middle name?

Daniel.

[laughs] Why do you say it like that?

Yes, that's accurate.

So you get a point for the middle name.

When did I start wrestling?

In 2004.

That was when you had your first match.

Tricky, tricky, it's tricky.

Well, you started back- I trained in 2004,

but I wrestled a little bit in 2003.

Yeah, yeah, you started backyard wrestling in 2003,

but you started your official training with Danny Daniels,

had your first match in 2004.

That's inaccurate, but yeah,

I started backyard wrestling in like 2000

and had my first paid match in 2003.

Oh, okay. And then I

did my training in '04.

Close. Can I give you a half point?

Can I give her a half point for the- Sure.

Half point for when I first started.

Okay, who made the first move?

Me. Yeah. Yeah.

Physically me. Physically, yeah.

Emotionally, you. Correct.

I'll give you the point. That's an accurate answer.

He just, he started,

he started throwing it out there, you know?

I started putting it out there. Yeah, I started saying,

Hey, what do you think about this? You know?

Hey, come stay over here.

Come hang out at my Airbnb.

Check out these quads.

[Seth laughing]

I never said anything about my quads.

Sent a picture with very nice looking quads.

Speaking of quads, what workout do I hate the most?

Wall balls?

I do hate wall balls, yeah.

I don't know. I don't know what I hate the most.

Running, you hate. I hate running.

There you go, there's a point.

Who is my first match against in WWE?

I don't know.

All right, no point there.

That's a tough one. Who was it?

I don't know, in NXT, I have no clue.

I actually don't know the answer to this question.

My WWE main roster debut

was a six-man tag against Team Hell No.

Daniel Bryan, Kane, and Ryback.

What do I never leave the house without?

Your fanny pack.

That's accurate. That's a point.

It's perfect.

People make fun of it.

It's got everything you need in one spot.

That way you don't have to be, you know,

looking around for everything.

What is my favorite restaurant and what's my order?

Alinea,

I would say, or no, or-

Yeah. I mean, like,

that was your favorite dining experience

of all time. It was, yeah.

And your order is tasting menu.

Yeah.

Otherwise, you know,

you could throw in HomeState,

you could throw in Hi-Ho, Little Dynamite, it depends.

Alinea was my favorite dining experience,

there you go. That's a tough one.

That is a tough one. That's a point.

I'll give you that one. Okay.

What's my favorite cheat meal?

Pizza. That's right.

And? Beer.

Yes.

And ice cream. And ice cream.

That's the one.

What is my favorite WWE promo of all time?

Do you have one?

Trick question, I don't have one.

Great. I was never a promo guy.

I was a match guy.

Ah, me, promo guy.

Yeah. So, no, I do not- But even still,

I don't think I have a favorite promo of all time.

That's hard.

Who was my childhood idol?

Shawn Michaels.

I'll give it to you. It's a point. Yeah.

Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan.

Yeah. There you go.

All right. Definitely a point then.

If I weren't a professional wrestler,

what would I be doing?

You would be talking about football.

[Seth laughing]

You'd be a sports broadcaster.

Yeah. NFL analyst, which you are.

I am also that.

If I could have any superpower, what would it be?

Turn invisible? No, God.

Why would I wanna be invisible?

Oh, I'd love to be invisible.

Why would you wanna be invisible?

Oh, my God. The stuff I could sneak around and do.

Oh, for crying out loud.

Flight. So sneaky.

I would love to be able to fly.

Oh. Superman, just take off.

Go, bam, anywhere in the world.

You could just sneak onto a plane.

Yeah, that would take forever.

It'd be awful.

What are my nicknames for you?

Honey.

That's it.

[laughs] Honey.

Sweetheart. Sweetheart,

honey bun, sweet pea.

I don't really have any.

Honey. Honey.

Yeah, that's it. Yeah, that's a point.

Oh, what's my biggest pet peeve about you?

I'm a little disorganized.

I leave things open.

Yeah. Yeah. I've gotten better.

You have gotten a little better.

I've gotten better. Yeah.

I mean, I've been so good.

I've been so good at putting things away.

At any point in our house,

there's like just a series of unopened half

or third consumed cans of sparkling water

anywhere around the house.

I forget where the hell, where I left them.

Is this mine?

Anyway, what's my favorite thing about you?

Oh, I'm fun.

[both laughing]

I'm sweet?

Yeah, probably the kindness.

Oh. I figured out you were kind

kind of the moment I met you, you know?

There's an intuition you get about people and they're,

I don't know, the way they present themselves.

And there was an authenticity

and a kindness that I sensed immediately.

I mean, you are very fun as well.

These are both accurate things,

but your level of kindness is pretty unmatched.

Thanks, honey. Point. Point.

What word do I overuse?

Right now, indeed.

Indeed.

What is my routine before a big match?

You don't really have one. No, don't have one.

Trick question. Point.

What's my favorite match I've ever won?

The WrestleMania 2015.

The cash in? Cash in.

I'll say sure, I'll give you a point for that,

only 'cause it's my greatest career achievement, likely.

I don't know if I have a favorite match that I've ever won.

I have a favorite match that I've lost.

Which is?

The night Ambrose cashed in his Money in the Bank

to win the title on me at Money in the Bank.

And the title went from Roman to me to John,

all in the span of like 10 minutes.

Very nice to give someone you love a moment like that.

I'd say that one,

and then probably the WrestleMania match against Claudio.

Oh, okay. Where he beat me.

Favorite movie of all time.

[cue cards rustling]

This is easy.

This is a literal no-brainer.

I'm stressed.

If there was one question

I thought you were gonna get right, it was this one.

Interstellar? Oh, for fuck's sake.

Brad Pitt, Edward Norton.

Oh, Fight Club. What the hell?

Christmas. Oh, my goodness.

I knew that. Do you even know me at all?

Of course I do. I just had a moment.

There was too many options.

We had seen too many movies together.

Fight Club, of course it's Fight Club.

What am I talking about?

Negative points.

Can I dock the points? Oh, my God. I knew that.

What's my biggest fear?

Of me not knowing your favorite movie.

[Seth laughing]

Anything happening to your little baby girl.

Yeah. That's probably number one.

Point for that.

Do I have a secondary fear?

Spiders. Yeah. That's it.

Point for that.

When did I know that you were the one?

Right away.

[Seth laughing]

Right away after we met, or when we started dating?

When we started dating. Yeah, that's right.

Pretty soon after.

Pretty quick, yeah, yeah.

I went ring shopping very early on.

[Becky laughing]

It was like I had been looking

for the wrong thing this entire time

and like trying to fit puzzle pieces into like the,

you know, part of my life and none of them fit.

And then once you get the one that fits,

you're like, of course, of course.

And so, yeah, I mean,

it was just an alignment of our personalities.

I felt like we complemented each other really well.

And we were already great friends,

which is like kind of the foundation

to any great relationship, I find.

And so we didn't have to build that friendship.

We just had to figure out how to like be lovers and friends.

And once we did that, what else do you need?

Easy one for you.

Which wrestler do I hate the most?

CM Punk. Yeah.

What is my favorite weapon to use in the ring?

What is my favorite- Steel chair

is the most iconic for you. That is the most iconic.

I would say it's not my favorite.

Table? Table. Table.

If you use a chair, they just want the table.

Yeah. And the table don't hurt

unless it cuts you up.

But it actually kind of,

it's less painful than the stick or the chair.

I like a stick. Oh, no.

What's my favorite thing about being a dad?

Snuggling with your baby,

playing video games with your baby, teaching her things.

You're a great teacher of things.

I do like to teach her. You do love

teaching her things.

That was a pretty good answer.

I'll give you a point for that.

And that's it. That's it, those are the questions.

Yeah, I don't even know the answers

to some of these questions, by the way.

All right. Well, I'll do my best.

Do your best. I'll do my best.

Okay. What's the color of my toothbrush?

Oh, well, we have the same toothbrush currently.

It's purple.

But you've been using like a green-looking one lately.

Yeah, actually. Yeah, a little turquoise one.

Yeah. Aquamarine.

Where did we first meet?

This is a point of contention, to be fair.

Well, there's no contention.

We just can't figure it out.

We can't figure it out.

We thought it was Atlanta,

but it's likely like Knoxville or something like that.

Yeah. Something.

Yeah, we thought it was Atlanta,

but then when we went and checked the dates,

it didn't line up.

So I think it's like Knoxville, Tennessee.

Two points. Deux points.

Who was my first big match with?

Big match? I mean, that's very subjective.

It's hard to say.

Yeah. You're, ah,

first big match.

Yeah, maybe your WrestleMania match,

your ladder match with Charlotte and Sasha, ladder?

Was it not a ladder match?

No, it was triple threat. Triple threat?

Was there no ladders involved?

There's no ladders. Why did I think

there were ladders involved? I have no idea.

Gosh, I kind of consider it

maybe the match I had with Sasha in NXT,

'cause then I figured they were like,

okay, shoot, she's not- Ah, I wasn't keeping tabs

on it at that time. Yeah, I know. Of course.

Yeah.

Half a point. Half a point.

What was my first job ever?

First job?

Ooh. I don't know the first job.

I'm trying to think, you worked in health food store.

That's the one I always remember,

but I don't know what your first job was.

It's kind of a tricky question.

What was the first thing you got paid for?

We used to wash people's cars on our neighborhood

when we were like eight.

But they just give you- They gave us money.

That's not a job. I got paid for it.

That's not a job. They gave me money.

That's not a job. All right.

Well, then I worked in a little bar.

At how old? 14.

You were allowed to work at bars at 14?

It's Ireland. Jesus!

You're like serving people beer and stuff at 14?

Yeah, it was called the Abbey Tavern.

And there would be a bunch

of American tourists would come in

and there was like an Irish dancing show

and we would serve them like Irish food

and beer, obviously. That's insane, 14.

Anyhow. I wasn't drinking.

I mean, and you can see- Were you not?

No. Okay.

There's laws, and I am a law-abiding citizen.

Who is my favorite athlete of all time?

You just didn't watch sports.

Right, correct. [Seth laughing]

Yep.

What is my favorite snack to eat on the road?

Does chocolate count? Yes, it does.

Okay, yeah, chocolate, number one.

That's like the only thing

that you have to have like all the time.

Otherwise you'll just snack around.

At TV, you eat cereal a lot.

Just like, but not with milk, just cereal,

just dry cereal in a cup and a protein shake.

Yep. Accurate.

What is my love language?

I don't know them all.

Like, I don't know all the love languages.

'Cause I don't- There's words

of affirmation, gifts,

acts of kindness, physical touch.

That's the one. I would say all,

everything but gifts.

Okay. That's a lot of love languages.

Maybe that's a good thing.

Yeah. Who am I fighting in my dream match?

Bull Nakano?

Sure.

I've fought everybody

that I thought would be my dream match.

Apart from maybe Beth Phoenix, actually.

Oh, okay. Mick Foley.

Mick Foley. I'd love it.

What's my proudest moment in my career?

That's tricky.

I think maybe your proudest moment

is the Bianca match at WrestleMania.

I mean, I would say Main Event in WrestleMania.

Oh, I always thought you had

like a weird stigma about that one.

Still never been done before.

Accurate. So still

probably the most proud of that.

Fair. Fair.

What is my favorite moment of your career?

I don't know, maybe like cash in at Mania?

What is your favorite moment? Trick question. All of them.

Anytime you're out there. Oh, get outta town.

Doing things. I love it. Move on.

Where did we first say I love you?

I have no clue.

I feel like it was on your bed in Iowa.

Could be wrong.

I, could be right. Yeah.

Sorry. Sorry on that. Might as well.

What was our first dance to?

Oh, our first dance was- Wedding dance.

Yes. Yes.

Our first wedding dance was a song called Mother Tongue

by Bring Me the Horizon.

But it was covered by our good friend from The Wonder Years,

Dan Campbell, who did it as a little gift for me

during COVID when his band wasn't able to tour.

I said, Dan, can you cover this song?

She loved his voice.

We had some, you know, I love the song,

and he did it and it's beautiful.

And we just did it on, had my phone,

played it on my phone in like a bowl.

And so that was our one dance and only dance at the wedding.

It was great. It was great.

Great wedding.

Okay. Who was my childhood celebrity crush?

Childhood celebrity crush.

Oh, I figure this is an easy one.

No, it's not.

There's- Is it not?

Well, there's a couple, but I'm gonna go with Zack Morris.

Yeah. Hell yeah. Okay,

I think Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Who was the other one?

I thought there was like a guy in one of the boy,

the Irish boy bands or something-

Oh. That you liked?

I don't know. Yeah, no.

Zack Morris? Zack Morris.

Yeah, yeah. Yes.

What stuffed animal did I have as a kid?

A million.

Oh, a million, okay.

Yeah, a million. I knew that.

I didn't know. Did you think I had one?

I don't know. No, I didn't think you had any.

I wouldn't- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I went through a bunch. Okay.

You know what I mean?

You know when you're a kid, you don't have just one.

No, no. I mean, especially nowadays.

No, our kids got too many.

And she goes, she has a rotation.

Hmm. Yeah.

Anyway. How many kids do I want?

Oh, I think another one.

I think two, two to three I think was your number,

but now, maybe two.

Two max.

What's my zodiac sign?

Oh, God. What are you?

You're in January.

Late January. I don't know.

Fuck, I don't know these calendars, man.

Can I phone a friend?

Where's Jen Houston when I need her?

What is that, like Sagittarius or something?

Aquarius? There you go.

Oh, all right. There you go.

All right. I know. There you go.

It's the only two I knew. How long does it take me

to get ready?

[whistles] You by yourself or you with a person?

Me, by myself. You by yourself.

Where are we going?

What are we doing?

We're going for dinner.

I would give you an hour. Yes. That's good.

That's good. Yeah.

Great answer. Great answer.

What is one thing I want to accomplish

before I retire from wrestling?

Oh, you've done it all.

There's one thing I haven't done.

You haven't won Money in the Bank?

I haven't won Money in the Bank.

I'd be a great Money in the Bank winner.

What's the best gift you've ever given me?

My love. Great, great.

Our daughter. Yes.

There you go.

I don't know if that qualifies.

Kind of qualifies.

I think the wedding song was kind of a gift.

Oh, yeah. 'Cause I got you

like a little record with it. That was so nice.

The wedding song was pretty good.

Yeah. I'm actually

a terrible gift giver.

I'm really bad at it.

You've given me some good ones.

I mean, this is nice.

And then the Eddie Vedder.

The Eddie Vedder-

Portrait too is pretty. Portrait

made out of records and record dust.

That's pretty cool. There's a gentleman

that I found that like crushed up records

and broke up records and he's able to create portraits

or photos of whatever using the dust of the record

and then like the pieces of the broken records.

It's quite impressive.

We have it hanging in the bedroom, actually.

Yep. Name my favorite color. Orange.

There you go. Yes.

What's my favorite thing about you?

Your favorite thing about me?

My quads. [Seth and Becky laughing]

What's my ideal date night?

Movie, you like the cinema. I love the cinema.

You wanna go to a film and eat some popcorn.

I wanna go to the cinema. Yeah.

I'll probably eat dinner.

Yeah. Yeah. Dinner and a movie.

Yeah. But the movie's

the crucial part. Yes, yes, yes.

Oh, what's my favorite movie?

Yours is much less obvious. Yeah.

Jurassic Park. That's one of them. Yeah.

One of them, 'cause you don't have like a-

I would say my favorite movie

is What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

Ooh. Yeah.

See, you don't profess your love for that movie

nearly as often as you do Jurassic Park.

Well, yeah. Well, Roux's into dinosaurs too.

Also, yeah, Jurassic Park is a perfect movie.

Perfect movie. Perfect.

She loves it so much, she still watches them all.

I do. Even-

And I think they're great.

She doesn't. At one point,

there's dinosaurs hiding in the basement.

People are concealing dinosaurs in basements

and people don't know.

It's amazing. It's incredible.

What is my favorite thing about being a mom?

Gosh. Yeah, snuggling with your little baby.

Or just like seeing her be happy and joyful,

like, you know what I mean?

I think that's, just watching her grow up.

Oh, her little lines. Yeah.

What was I almost named-

You- As a little baby?

What were you almost named?

Yeah. What did my dad wanna call me?

Should I know this? You should know this.

Ah.

You should know this. Think about it.

Oh, Patsy.

Patricia.

[Seth laughing]

Yeah. Yeah, of course.

Of course, Patricia. Yes.

Patricia Quinn.

Yep.

What could have been. What could have been.

Oh, Patsy. Oh, Patty.

[laughs] That's it. All right.

Yep. Done and dusted.

You got this many points.

You got this many points.

Who do you think won? I think I did.

I think I did.
